Challenges so far

Ms. Anooja Bashir is a civil engineer turned entrepreneur and has quite a lot of twists and pseudo-climaxes in her career. She has played many important roles both in India & abroad from interior designer to project manager and as a former assistant professor. Her exposure and convergence with both academia and the corporate for a tenure of more than ten years helped her in identifying the numerous rifts and fractures that existed between the adroitness of the academia and dexterity demanded by the corporate. Anooja has with her, a plethora of experience, thus delineated her brain child — a finishing school concept for professional graduates with venture Ourea in 2012. Having spent a substantial aggregate of time in both academia and corporate space didn’t completely aid her as the sector demanded more resources and more strategies. Like every other startup, she too experienced a roller-coaster ride — full of struggles, ups and downs leaving a sweet taste of success and bitter taste of failure.

Journey

Ms. Anooja Bashir, a corporate leader turned entrepreneur started her venture envisioning new business concepts, and in 2012 founded a brand with a vision and with an aim of a finishing school concept for professional graduates, budding startups and organizations equally. Initiation of HR & Training Venture started in 2013. Afterwards, upskilling through a Training hub, ourea expanded and a surgence of Corporate training for organisations and individuals took place, in 2015. Furthermore, ourea rolled over as a business management consultancy with Marketing, HR & Training and IT as it's forte in 2017. 

Branding was added to the marketing vertical in 2019 creating a considerable number of evolving brands and recognitions. Ourea came and conquered as a branding agency with major brands. In addition, under the guidance of Vinod Chacko, who took over the department as IT director and developed a strong and experienced team of web and mobile developers, the IT hub expanded to further verticals and dynamic services like mobile application developments.  In 2020, development of the Edtech platform- LIKES was formulated. LIKES is a learning platform for graduates, start-ups and organisations for upgrading into the next level of learning. Ourea today has evolved as a one-stop solution to all business needs for both B2B & B2C clients.
